FIJI Warriors coach Senirusi Seruvakula will monitor his players when they return to play in the Skipper Cup competition.
He said he would look at young players for overseas tours.
He said he hoped the under-23 players in the squad would be given a chance to play in their respective senior teams.
“We are expecting all players to play in their major union teams if they want to make it to the Fiji Drua for the National Rugby Championship,” he said.
“But before the NRC competition we have two challenges coming up which is the Uruguay tour as we are being invited back.
“The last time we lost so this is something that we’re looking forward to relook at the weakness in our last tour before that we have a match against Western Force in Australia in May and in June is the Uruguay tour so we have alit on our plate right now.”
He said there were a lot of opportunities for the players to showcase their talent.
“For us coaches we will be expecting tough competition and having this kind of competition will boost the morale of the players.
“This is a good foundation in selecting the right players into the national squad.”
Seruvakula now concentrates on getting the players fitness up to par.
