Tuwai in top form

FIJI 7s rep Pio Tuwai was in top form leading Yasawa Nett to a spot in the Turnbull Mamanuca 7s elimination to be held at Yanuya Village school grounds this morning.

The gifted rugby player thrilled rugby fans on the island with his bag of tricks that helped his team to secure a spot in the elimination.

Tournament organiser Mesake Ravaga said Tuwai was in top form and played a leading role for Yasawa Nett.

“Tuwai continued to amaze the rugby 7s fans with his magical touch and offloading skills in pool games,” he said.

“He will be one of the players to watch in the second day.”

Ravaga said tournament lived up to its expectation and rugby fans enjoyed all the actions displayed at the ground. He said the local teams had also been exposed to tough competition with some of the country’s top teams present at the event.
