THE Commissioner of Police’s intent of improving the health of Police officers received another boost as BSP Life handed over a fully equipped Gym for officers in the Northern Division.

The Fiji Police Force posted on its Facebook Page yesterday the BSP Life Tudravu Gym was officially opened by the Deputy Commissioner of Police Rusiate Tudravu in Labasa.

The donation of gym equipment was also complimented by a donation of sporting equipment from Sports World which was handed over to the Station Officers present.

According to Police, from January to date 17 police officers have lost their lives as a result of Non-communicable diseases which the Commissioner hopes to address by promoting health and wellness though the setting up of Gyms in all divisions.

BSP Life has also assisted with the setting up of the Fiji Police Academy and Headquarters gyms.
