Trial continues, Nasilasila chooses to remain silent

FORMER Fiji 7s play-maker Amenoni Nasilasila has chosen to remain silent as the prosecution closed it’s case after calling it’s last witness at the Lautoka High Court this morning.

His lawyer Mark Anthony told High Court Judge Justice Daniel Goundar that they will call only one defence witness.

Former Fiji 7s captain Aisake Katonibau is currently taking the witness stand as the lone defence witness.

Dr Elizabeth Natasha Dass who medically examined the complainant at the Sigatoka Hospital was the last state witness called.
