Trial date to be set for man accused of attempted murder

The trial date for a man accused of trying to kill his defacto by strangling and suffocating her with a pillow will be set by the High Court in Suva when the case is next called.

Ravin Prasad, 22, who is charged with one count of attempted murder, appeared before judge Justice Aruna Althuge today.

Bail was extended and the case adjourned to August 20.
