FIJI-BASED manufacturing company, Naturally Fiji, is one of the companies that will be present at the Fijian Tourism Expo this year.
A statement from Tourism Fiji said the company had also agreed to provide sponsorship for one of the expo.
The company’s business development manager Mahzabeen Begum said for the past two years they had participated in the FTE because the company looked for innovative ways to showcase their product offering on the world stage.
“We have found FTE to be an invaluable opportunity to ‘showcase our products’ to a sophisticated international audience and the local visitor and retail providers that market our range in Fiji.
“That is why you will find us once more at this year’s FTE — and for many more years to come,” said Ms Begum.
Meanwhile according to Tourism Fiji, Rosie Holidays has expressed its enthusiasm to be part of the FTE this year and its managing director Tony Whitton says the expo was the most important forum of the year.
“What makes FTE unique is after our meetings, we arrange three or five night programs for selected participants to ‘experience Fiji with Rosie’ as we share some unique resort stays, be immersed in our pristine environment to swim, dive, and share some authentic Fijian experiences.
“As a result 100 per cent of all buyers that come to FTE will feature Fiji in their programs on their return,” he said.
Outrigger Fiji Beach Resort is also participating in the FTE this year and general manager Peter Hopgood says he enjoys meeting people from all over the world and having the opportunity to tell some wonderful stories about the people of Fiji and Fiji in general.
Tourism Fiji CEO Matthew Stoeckel said: “The Fijian Tourism Expo is really the perfect way to showcase all that Fiji has to offer to international buyers and provides these buyers an opportunity to also experience Fiji first-hand through a Famil.”
The Fijian Tourism Expo 2018 will be held from April 10-12 at Sheraton Fiji on Denarau Island.
