Touch team to tour Aust

RAIWAQA-based INSYDEOUT touch rugby team will be competing in a tournament in Australia in December this year.

The team was formed this year with the help of the national team players who decided to compete in the Suva Touch Association competition.

Team player Tevita Kabakoro said they were content with their performance so far in the season.

“The players are looking forward to the competition in December and we have started our preparation,” he said.

“We are a new team in the Suva competition but we have managed to put up a good show.

“The players are mostly from Raiwaqa area and some are school and some are not school so we decided to come together and form this team to compete in the touch rugby.”

The STA weekly competition continued at Suva Sacred College grounds in Veiuto, Nasese yesterday.

“It is one of the good competition to test ourselves and we have been able to play as a team.”
