SOUS chef Nicholas Jordan and demi chef Ravinesh Prasad are ready to compete against chefs from across the country for the coveted junior and senior chef of the year accolades.
The duo are based at the Malamala Beach Club, which is fast becoming Fiji’s top culinary hot spot for both locals and international visitors with its use of fresh local produce and curated menus designed by celebrity chef Lance Seeto.
“We’re both excited to showcase our modern style of club cuisine at this year’s salon and to highlight Fijian grown produce that Malamala has sourced from across Fiji,” said Mr Jordan, the 2016 junior chef of the year.
Top chefs from around the country will compete in the annual Moffat Salon Culinaire, which starts at the Fiji National University in Nadi today and will end on Thursday.
According to the Fiji Chefs Association preparations were in the final stages ahead of the competition which has more than 140 chefs from all over Fiji competing.
