Candour, honesty and transparency with one’s self and loved ones are moral imperatives we all have, says US Ambassador to Fiji Joseph Cella.

He made the comment at the annual Movember shave-off he hosted at his residence in Suva on Monday, November 30.

The shave-off was part of the Movember campaign to raise awareness on prostate cancer and a fundraiser organised for the Fiji Cancer society.

“I think it’s key for men to be transparent with themselves. To be honest and candid and that takes a real man,” Mr Cella said.

“To be candid with one’s self to face life’s most difficult decisions rather than burying them, rather than internalising them.”
