The Fiji Times is very important to my everyday life, says Veena Wati.

The Lovu, Lautoka resident was one of the 30 lucky winners of The Fiji Times 152nd anniversary promotion November draw.

“I couldn’t believe it when I was informed that I had won $152 and I really want to thank this newspaper for coming up with such a wonderful competition,” she said.

Ms Wati said with Christmas just around the corner, the prizemoney would come in handy.

“I will be using this money for my Christmas spending.”

She said one of the many reasons she reads this newspaper daily was because it kept her very well informed about current affairs.

“I will be placing The Fiji Times mast head in the draw again this month just to try my luck again.”
