Tessa Mackenzie, known as the woman who designed the Fijian national flag, won a Sony 50″ Led Smart TV as her prize for the 2021 The Fiji Times Letter of the Year.

Her letter “Moral dilemma” was published last September under her birth certificate name Cynara Chandler (aka Tessa Mackenzi), and it detailed the things she had to do to register her birth certificate name on her voter ID card.

A teacher by profession, she has made Fiji her home since 1961.

She will draw The Fiji Times 152nd anniversary grand prize of $15,200 at 10am today at the Fiji Times Pte Ltd head office in Suva.

You can log onto The Fiji Times Facebook page for a live feed of the major draw.
