Tertiary student was reported missing as police confirm identification of body

The body of a woman was found at the Thurston Gardens earlier today by a Suva City Council worker.

Police spokeswoman Ana Naisoro said the victim was identified as a female tertiary student in her early 20’s who was reported missing on Friday.

Ms Naisoro also said the woman’s body was discovered by a Suva City Council worker at around 9am.

She addeda post mortem will be conducted to ascertain the cause of death as investigations continue.
