MEMBERS of the public are being advised that the Natewa West Coast Road in Vanua Levu will be temporarily closed from 7:30pm on Thursday, May 23 to 5am, Friday, May 24, 2019.
Fiji Roads Authority (FRA) in a statement stressed that this is a planned closure that will allow its contractors to carry out culvert repair works.
“During this time, access will be prohibited and there will be no detours posted,” FRA said.
“Road closure advisory signs have been posted in advance of the closure period and motorists are requested to plan their travel accordingly.
“We will have standby vehicles available on both sides of the crossing to cater for emergency events.”
