Teenage rape cases among December statistics

Update: 2:02PM THE alleged rape of a 15-year-old student by another student last month is among sexual offences statistics released by the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions today.
This was revealed by the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) in an authorised statement on sexual offences for the month of December last year.
The statement also revealed incidents where a 37-year-old uncle and a 48-year-old grandfather were charged with two counts each of rape and indecent assault of their 16-year-old niece and granddaughter.
There was another incident where a 35-year-old brother-in-law was charged with rape and indecent assault of his 16-year-old sister-in-law.
The statistics noted that six people were charged with a total of 11 separate incidents last month alone.
