STUDENTS enrolled at the Tailevu North Technical College and the Centre for Appropriate Technology and Development (CATD) at Nadave can be rest assured that the two facilities will remain open.

The two schools were on the verge of closing because of internal problems and the lack of resources supplied to the schools by the Fiji Higher Education Commission (FHEC).

This was made known to Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama during a talanoa session at Nauluvatu Village, Nakelo in Tailevu.

Mr Bainimarama was told that classes at the Tailevu North Technical College had ceased since Monday, and 13 weeks into classes students are still into theory learning and did not have resources to start practical classes.
