NAUSORI Town was a hive of activity during the 2019 Vodafone Tebara Carnival float procession today for the seven Queen contestants vying for this year’s crown.
Contestants coordinator Sangeeta Kumar said the contestants had prepared themselves well for the whole week.
“This week has been great. I think the girls just made it more difficult for the judges to pick a winner because the competition this year has been tough,” Ms Kumar said.
She said the contestants had also formed an impeccable bond throughout the week.
Ms Nausori Town Council Taina Degei scooped the best float award today.
The crowning of the new Queen will begin at 7pm.
Ms Kumar is encouraging members of the public to make their way to Syria Park to support their favourite contestant.
