Team finishes last at WC

THE Fiji U19 Cricket team have begun their journey home from the International Cricket Council U19 World Cup without any win.
The team finished in last place at their maiden World Cup after Canada defeated them in their final match to be placed one better.
Fiji batted first and lost early wickets leading to their downfall going all out for 83 runs in 28 overs.
Canada made quick work with their time on the crease beating Fiji in just 20 overs with 85 runs in an eight wicket victory.
Fiji had been bundled out of title contention when their finished last in the pool against cricket powerhouses England, Zimbabwe and Bangladesh.
They competed in three more placing matches after that to determine their ranking and are now placed 16th after the loss to Canada.
The team is scheduled to arrive in the country tomorrow morning.
