Teachers salary increments on hold

TEACHERS promised a pay rise last year will have to wait, says Education Minister Rosy Akbar.

She said salary increments would be done once teacher assessments were completed, but did not give a timeline on when this exercise would be completed.

The Fiji Teachers Union is calling on Government to make good on a promise it made more than eight months ago.
