TC Yasa: Major roads in Rakiraki flooded

All major roads in Rakiraki are flooded, including the town.

It has been raining in the district since 10am today.

The Naqoro flat, Fiji Sugar Corporation back road, the Waimari road and parts of the Kings Highway at Wairuku and Vunitogoloa are flooded.

Police are urging people not to venture out of their houses.

Rakiraki has been experiencing winds of over 100km/ph since 10am today.
