THE national measles vaccination campaign has been temporarily suspended because of the adverse weather effects of Tropical Cyclone Sarai.
In a statement, the Ministry of Health and Medical Services said it would later advise members of the public on when the campaign would resume.
The ministry is urging people to avoid non-essential travels to Serua-Namosi, Nasilai Village, Nakelo, and Saumakia Village in Naitasiri.
Meanwhile, there are now 25 confirmed measles in the country.
