TC Keni: Western river levels increasing; Flood alert remains

Update: 9:05PM RIVER levels in the Western Division are increasing and people living near waterways are urged to move to higher ground.

The Fiji Meteorological Service said a flood alert remained for all areas located near waterways and low-lying areas.

At 5pm the level at:

– Rakiraki station was 3.59m which is 0.75m above alert level and increasing

–  Vatukacevaceva station was 1.09m which is 0.07m below alert level and increasing.

– Toge station was 4.71m which is 0.26m above alert level and increasing,

–  Nabukelevu station was 2.54m at 5pm which is 0.39m above alert level and increasing.

– Ba FSC station was 4.21m at 5pm which is 0.52m above alert level and increasing.

–  Votualevu station was 3.52m at 5pm which is 0.77m below alert level and increasing.

–  Nasivi station was 2.43m at 5pm which is 0.13m above warning level and increasing.
