Taxi drivers warned against illegal activities

ANY taxi driver involved in any illegal activity should be ready to face the full brunt of the law.

As the country gears up towards Christmas and New Year’s, its parent body – the Fiji Taxi Association has reminded taxi drivers to be well aware of their roles as public service providers.

While the association has not received any complaint on illegal dealing activity so far, FTA president Raben Singh said it should be noted that their functions were to ensure the safe transportation of members of the public.
