A taxi driver has passed away after he was involved in an accident at Veisari in Lami this morning.
Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro confirmed this saying a post mortem will be conducted on the victim who resides in Davuilevu to ascertain the cause of death as he had previous medical history.
“Information gathered that he was returning from the Namosi area after dropping off passengers when he started to feel unwell,” Ms Naisoro said.
“Eyewitness claim that his vehicle veered onto the opposite lane resulting in the unfortunate accident,” she said.
