FOUR weekends of McDonald’s Talent Development League ended last weekend in the three zones.
The pilot project was played in the West, South and North in the under-13 and under-15 grades.
In the southern zone, Rewa Centre Team Two under-13 was crowned the champion after beating Rewa Centre Team One 1-0 in the final while Navua Centre Two won 4-3 against Navua Centre Team One to finish third.
Navua Centre Team One won the under-15 grade after beating Suva Centre 4-1 in the final while Rewa won 4-3 in penalty kicks against Navua Centre Two to finish third.
In the western zone, Lautoka Blues defeated Nadi Gutsy 2-1 in the under-13 final while Ba Black Rocks won 4-2 against Lautoka Maroon Gunners to clinch the under-15 title.
Crazy Lions has been crowned the champion of northern zone after beating Bulileka Bees in the final of the under-13 grade and Elcian Blues won 3-0 against All United to win the under-15 grade. Fiji FA technical director Timo Jankowski said it was a great project.
