WARHORSE Jiuta Takubu has forced his way back in the Jack’s Nadi starting line-up against QAQA Naitasiri in the third round of Skipper Cup competition at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori this afternoon.

The hardworking soldier didn’t feature in Nadi’s loss to Navosa last week because of work commitments.

His inclusion will add power and experience to the side against the powerful Naitasiri outfit. Nadi team manager Lasaro Rabaka says the side needs a win to keep their semi-final hopes alive.

“We need to change our game after the loss to Navosa and the players have been working hard at training,” he said.

“We also need a win to set the platform for the remaining games. “Some senior players that missed out on last week’s game are back training with the team.”

Rabaka said it would be an uphill battle since Naitasiri would want to retain their spot on top of the point’s standings.

“Naitasiri will be strengthened by the presence of the Fiji Warriors players and they will also want to maintain their top place standing.

“They will also have the advantage of playing on their home turf. “It is a huge test for the boys.”

Former national 7s rep Samu Saqiwa will captain the Jetsetters. The game will kick off at 3pm.
