Tabu makes 7s return

The injury to Sevuloni Mocenacagi has paved way for his younger brother Kavekini Tabu a chance to return to the Fiji 7s team.

The Navosa hard man made his appearance in the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series arena at the London 7s last night after World Rugby released the team’s list for this weekend’s tournament.

Tabu played in six events with 15 points under three tries and was a travelling reserve for Fiji to the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.

Also rested this week is Namosi tall timber Joseva Talacolo who is recovering from a sickness.

Gollings named the 27-year-old leaving Jeremaia Matana to be the 14th man.

Tabu played in the French Top 14 competition for La Rochelle earlier this year.

The cup quarter-finals start at 10.20pm tonight, the semi-finals will begin from 1.53am tomorrow while the final will start at 4.58am.
