FIJIANA 7s coach Saiasi Fulj said he was happy with the performance of his girls as he looked ahead to the start of the Sydney 7s tomorrow.

The Tokasa Seniyasi-captained team is in a pool where they can easily make it to the semi-finals. The Fijiana 7s side is pooled with USA, Canada, and Brasil.

“Yes we have a very good team for this weekend even though we have a few injury worry,” the former national halfback said at the team hotel in Sydney yesterday. ”

With the rest of the squad back in Suva, I believe we now have a very good squad which can compete with the top teams in the women’s competition.

“We have some very young girls in our squad and we have a long way to go in this competition.”

The Fiiiana 7s team had a day off yesterday and will test their moves during the captain’s run today.

The women’s competition starts tomorrow.
