THE Suva Grammar School under-14 rugby team aims to improve its game plan as it prepares to battle Queen Victoria School in the Powerade Super Deans semi-finals this weekend. SGS principal Segran Pillay said the team was gearing towards playing a better game than the past weeks.

“We need to polish up on our mistakes from previous matches,” Pillay said.

The side defeated Assemblies of God High School last weekend in the quarter-finals. “Playing against AOG was not new to us. We had played them in the playoffs, so we were confident when we met them in the quarter -finals.”

Pillay said QVS would play a different style of rugby.

“We know that QVS is one of the top schools from the Tailevu zone, so we have to train the boys well for that game,” he said.

Pillay calls on the support of fans, former scholars and parents to support the team on Saturday.
