Suva football strengthens its strike force

THE Suva Football Association is strengthening its strike force this season as they aim to do wonders this year.

According to the Fiji Football Association, the capital city side has applied for the transfer of former Labasa striker Ratu Apenisa Anare, and it has also secured the International Transfer of Solomon Islands marksman Gagame Feni.

Feni is likely to join Suva football side in the transfer window this month.

The 26-year-old has played 18 matches for the national team and has been playing the club games for Solomon Warriors and also featured for Havelock North Club in New Zealand.

Defenders Bruce Hughes and Antonio Tuivuna, Ravinesh Karan Singh and Napolioni Qasevakatini are a few players from Suva who have applied for their transfer this season.

Hughes is likely to join Rewa while Tuivuna, Singh and Qasevakatini are expected to join Labasa.
