THE Suva Darts Association has taken competition to a new level with the introduction of an online tournament.
“To overcome restrictions on gatherings and social distancing requirements, Suva Darts is promoting online darts with Vinz Friends United darts team once again taking the lead by playing games online and posting setup instructions on their club website,”said SDA president Edward Roxburgh.
The 2020 season is on hold due to the COVID19 pandemic and Roxburgh had encouraged members to follow the directives of the government, the Ministry of Health, and World Health Organisation to practice good hygiene and physical distance to keep themselves and families safe from the virus.

“We are eagerly awaiting the lifting of the restrictions and looking forward to a fantastic year of darts ahead.”
Roxburgh thanked their sponsors FINTEL who continued support and sponsorship, with FINTEL chief executive officer George Samisoni indicating during his address, that FINTEL were considering sponsoring their league once again in 2020 and he has delivered by increasing their sponsorship from $2500 in 2019 to $3,000 in 2020.
