Suva cricket holds second round of competition

THE Suva Cricket Association continued its second round of competition at Suva’s Albert Park today.

Fourteen participating teams will feature this season for the next four months with three games every Saturday because of the closure of one of the two pitches for renovation.

The three matches for today sees last year’s runners up Army facing Ono, VICC edged Sarafini in the opening round by 103-102, and Oneata will take on Suva Grammar old scholars in the last match.

Police is the defending champion of the competition.
