“OUR survival is at stake and there is no time to waste.”

This was the statement made by Tuvaluan Prime Minister Enele Sopoaga as he called on Pacific leaders to act urgently to guarantee the future of Pacific Small Island Developing States.

“We must be decisive in our actions,” Mr Sopoaga told leaders and representatives from various regional organisations present at the Climate Change Sautalaga at Funafuti, Tuvalu, today.

The Sautalaga is an initiative of the Tuvaluan Government, coinciding with theĀ 50th Pacific Islands Forum Leaders Meeting.
