Super Rugby: Gallagher Chiefs stops BNZ Crusaders in Suva

GALLAGHER Chiefs trailed the BNZ Crusaders most of the game but fought hard to win 40-27 at the ANZ National Stadium in Suva
Bottom of the table Chiefs scored two tries in the second half to get them into the lead for the first time in the match 40-27.

Chiefs half back Brad Weber and right wing Shaun Stevenson scored the two tries but replacement fullback Tumua Manu scored their third try and confirming the win for the Chiefs.

Crusaders scored only one try in the second half through blindside wing Braydon Ennor but wasn’t enough to win them the match.
They dominated the first half and commanded an early 20-0.
Crusaders scored three tries from lock Scott Barrett, halfback Mitchell Drummond and right wing Sevuloni Reece.

Chiefs made a comeback in the last ten minutes of play in the first half scoring three tries from fullback Solomon Alaimalo, hooker Samisoni Taukeiaho and lock Jesse Parete.
Crusaders led 20-19 at half time.
