Super Rugby: BNZ Crusaders lead Gallagher Chiefs

THE Crusaders Super rugby team currently leads the Chiefs after the halftime break 27-26 in the 16 round of the Super rugby competition at the ANZ Stadium in Suva.

Crusaders scored three tries from lock Scott Barrett, halfback Mitchell Drummond and right wing Sevuloni Reece to lead 20-19 at half time.
Winger Baydon Ennor scored Crusaders fourth in the match after the breather. The try was converted to extend Crusaders points to 27.
Chiefs made a comeback in the last ten minutes of play in the first half scoring three tries from fullback Solomon Alaimalo, hooker Samisoni Taukeiaho and lock Jesse Parete.
Halfback Brad Webber scored the side’s first try in the second half  The try was converted to give the side another two points.
