National 7s rep and Yamacia captain Sevuloni Mocenacagi has been suspended for 12 matches on the local 7s calendar.
Mocenacagi, while playing for Yamacia in the Bowl semifinal against Fire, was sent off for throwing the ball at referee Paula Racaca.
This was Mocenacagi’s second send-off of the tournament after receiving a red card on day one as well.
Fiji Rugby Union chief executive officer John O’Connor has confirmed Mocenacagi will be suspended for 12 matches.
O’Connor also added that Yamacia, which did not turn up for its 11th/12th place match against Wadigi Salvo has been dropped from the Super 7s Series and will not feature in the remaining three tournaments.
