THE Army and Police soccer teams are locked 1-all at half time in the Sukuna Bowl competition.

Suva marksman Christopher Wasasala gave Army a dream start with a goal early in the match.

Wasasala curled a shot from the edge of the Police 18-yard box giving goalkeeper Akuila Mataisuva no chance at all.

Police applied pressure after conceding and it paid off just before half time.

Suva midfielder Madhvan Goundar responded with an equaliser after blasting a pile driver from close range.

Army is the defending champions of the football competition.
