THE Army rugby side leads Police 17-3 at half time in the 2019 Ratu Sukuna Bowl competition.

After a tightly-contested 35 minutes, Army scored two tries in the last five minutes to earn some breathing space at the break.

Vesi Rawarawa was sin-binned for Army after a high tackle.

Police flanker Jone Navori also spent 10 minutes in the bin for dangerous play.

Rawarawa came off the bench to score the Army’s first try while winger Gabrieli Matakiviwa scored the second try.

Police are trying hard to get back into the match but unforced errors are not allowing them to.

The second half begins shortly.
