THE Army cricket team kept the cup in Delainabua after ousting traditional rivals – Fiji Police Force – during their 2019 Sukuna Bowl challenge at Albert Park in Suva today.

Army won by seven wickets with 161 runs in 28 overs to chase down Police’s average of 160 runs in 35 overs.

“The cup rightfully belongs in Delainabua,” said Army skipper Kitione Tavo.

“We thank our brothers in the Fiji Police Force for a hard-fought contest and we will meet again next year.”
