Struggle of youths

When youths misbehave and participate in criminal activities, we instantly work programs to curb the outcomes. Going back to the source is always helpful. Some facts to be considered are background and history of every youth.

With the changing family structure, I believe many youths in question come from broken families with solo mothers, and absent fathers in their lives.

Other cases include abused and abandoned youths trying to survive in poor and violent homes and settlements.

Some suggestions would be increase welfare homes for these youths, with proper counsellors to guide them to vocational schools or some adequate employment.

How about extending retirement age to 60 and employing retirees as value-driven counsellors?

It seems our elderly population can effectively train value-based programs better than current graduates.
