UNITY Fiji party leader Savenaca Narube says it is time for political party leaders to stop the blame game and stop criticising each other. Addressing a crowd of about 20 people at a rally in Tacirua heights in Suva yesterday, he said it was time for true leaders to stand up and show everyone that they were true leaders of the country.

“It’s time for leaders of this country to stand up and to show everyone that they are leaders and not shout from the rooftop pointing fingers and criticising each other. People have had enough of that,” he said.

Mr Narube said the role of a true leader was to lead the country to a better future.

“A leader must stand up and show us the direction that he or she wants to take us to the future. That is the leader we should be looking for and not a leader that shouts and blames. And we have to start with that.

“We have to start with a dream for Fiji and we have that dream to show people in Fiji where we are taking them. “Unity Fiji has that vision and we want to take that country towards that vision,” he said.
