Kiwi NBA star Steven Adams has gone to one of his favourite dishes in a bid to help boost his immune system amid the Coronavirus outbreak.

The Oklahoma City Thunder big man has plenty of spare time on his hands due to the NBA suspending its season because of the Covid-19 outbreak.

Adams has posted a photo to Instagram of a classic Kiwi boil up accompanied by two crayfish.

Adams has previously spoken of his love for the the traditional Māori boil up.

There is still no timeframe for when or if the NBA season will return but some US media have reported a mid-to-late-June return as the best-case scenario.

Adams and his Thunder teammates have returned negative results for Covid-19 after they were caught up in one of the most dramatic days in the NBA’s history on March 12.
