Strong gusty winds are presently being felt by the people of Qamea in Cakaudrove on Vanua Levu as Severe TC Harold head towards the Fiji group.
A man who spoke to this newspaper of the condition of anonymity said they had been experiencing this from 3am today.
“When I got up around 3am, the wind had picked up and it was raining,” the man said.
“There’s been rain from time to time, but there’s been really strong winds and rough seas.”
