Several roads around Viti Levu have lane restrictions due to fallen trees and debris.

Fiji Roads Authority has advised road users to be mindful of the road conditions, FRA workmen and heavy machinery.

“Please follow all temporary traffic management plan in place and drive slowly,” the FRA stated.

Meanwhile, the Queens and Kings Roads and Edinburgh Drive in Suva are now all open to traffic.

Cicia Coastal Road is partly affected and is only accessible by 4WD, while causeway has been identified at Cicia Jetty in Lau.

“River slip at Sawani is still passable on Princes Road with single-lane restriction. We are constantly monitoring this.”
