STC Harold: Affected Fijians eligible for FNPF relief assistance

Fijians whose homes were seriously damaged or destroyed by STC Harold will be eligible for Fiji National Provident Fund (FNPF) relief assistance, says Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama.

He said more details would be released soon.

“We’ve seen remarkable stories of resilience emerge from Cyclone Harold’s devastation. Affected Fijians will get the help they badly need,” Mr Bainimarama said.

He also confirmed that teams from the National Disaster Management Office (NDMO) would begin distributing ration packs in impacted areas from tomorrow.
