ONE of the key impediments faced by the University of the South Pacific is limited financial resources, inhibiting its ability to fully deliver its strategic objective.

This was noted in the review of the University’s 2017 annual report by the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Social Affairs.

The Committee noted that inadequate financial resources had led to the university not being able to fully implement the key deliverables in its Strategic Plan 2013-2018.

The report also highlighted that inadequate funds had also affected the University’s capita works and substantially deferred maintenance programs.
