Stakeholders meet to develop National Organic Policy

THE Foundation for Rural Integrated Enterprises and Development (FRIEND) Fiji is holding a policy developing meeting with stakeholders from the tourism and agriculture sectors in support of the Ministry of Agriculture’s efforts to develop a National Organic Policy.

The two day stakeholder discussions will include presentations from the public and private sector focusing on the need to mitigate climate change, increase in trade opportunities and encourage healthy living to combat NCDs.

The two day meeting will begin tomorrow at the Friend Fiji headquarters in Tuvu, Lautoka.
