Special weather bulletin: Heavy rain to continue until Wednesday

THE heavy rain warning issued this morning remains in force for the whole of Fiji.

A trough of low pressure remains slow moving over the country with associated cloud and rain expected to affect the group.

The weatherman says the trough is expected to affect the country until Wednesday.

Periods of rain is forecast, heavy at times and few thunderstorms.

Localised heavy falls may lead to flash flooding of low-lying areas.

The next special weather bulletin on heavy rain will be issued at around 1pm.
