THE Soqosoqo Vakamarama iTaukei this year began meeting with their members and have agreed to start a development program for a cultural centre.
Soqosoqo Vakamarama President, Adi Finau Tabakaucoro said they have engaged an architect, town planner and a land valuer for the purpose of the program.
“This is to help us develop the concept just the concept because the lease across the road was for a cultural center so what we are doing there is to work around a theme for a cultural center,” she said.
“We are also planning to build an auditorium and have some space for renting so that some money could come into the Soqosoqo Vakamarama.”
The Soqosoqo Vakamarama plans to carry out this development project right opposite their headquarters in Sukanaivalu Rd, Nabua.
