Soldiers depart for peacekeeping duties

FORTY soldiers from the Republic of Fiji Military Forces departed for Sinai yesterday.

They were farewelled by RFMF Commander Rear Admiral Viliame Naupoto at the Nadi International Airport before boarding a KC 30 aircraft belonging to the Australian Defence Force.

According to the RFMF, the troops would serving on the Multinational Observers Mission for 12 months.
