THE Fiji Pharmaceutical Society(FPS) held a mini seminar on travel health earlier today at Holiday Inn in Suva.

FPS President Reshnika Sen said the seminar gave participants a total of six Continuing Professional Development(CPD) points which was now a mandatory requirement for pharmacists for renewal of annual practicing license.

“FPS is very proud that we have become quite consistent with CPD programs annually organizing a conference and mini seminar,” Ms Sen said.

Dr Ian Heslop, the Associate Professor from James Cook University was the guest speaker at the event and spoke to the participants on travel medicine.

About 50 participants attended the event.
